The Maharajas' Express Heritage of India itinerary offer insights into the rich heritage and culture of India. Starting from Mumbai, the train crisscrosses through the medieval caves of Ajanta, forts and Palaces of Rajasthan and the majestic Taj Mahal during the Heritage of India Tour. The highlight of the tour includes cultural immersion during local sightseeing tours, insider experiences such as sundowner cocktails amidst sand dunes and Elephant painting & joyrides and some shopping experiences among others.

- Day 1 (Sunday) –MUMBAI
- 08:00 Welcome, Registration and tour briefing at the Hotel Taj Mahal Palace.
- 10:00 Proceed for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Railway Station, Mumbai
- 10:55 Maharajas’ Express proceeds to Udaipur
- 12:30 Lunch on-board
- 19:30 Dinner on-board
- Day 2 (Monday) –UDAIPUR
- 07:15 Arrive into Udaipur.
- 08:00 Breakfast on-board.
- 09:30 Proceed for boat ride on Lake Pichola followed by visit to City Palace and Crystal Gallery
- 13:00 Exclusive lunch at Satkar Hall of Hotel Fatehprakash Palace.
- 14:30 Return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express. Relax on-board or you may also choose optional activities.
- 19:30 Dinner on-board.
- 21:45 Maharajas’ Express proceeds to Jodhpur.
- Day 3 (Tuesday) –JODHPUR
- 07:30 Enjoy countryside while having breakfast on-board
- 09:15 Relax on-board or you may choose optional activities
- 13:00 Lunch on-board
- 14:30 Proceed to visit the Mehrangarh Fort followed by a Tuk Tuk ride and a walking tour of the Old Clock Tower market.
- 17:30 Proceed for an exclusive cocktail dinner at Khaas Bagh, a heritage hotel
- 20:30 Return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express
- Day 4 (Wednesday) –BIKANER
- 08:00 Enjoy countryside while having breakfast on-board
- 10:00 Arrive into Bikaner. Relax on-board or you may choose optional activities
- 13:00 Lunch on-board
- 14:30 Visit to Junagarh Fort followed by sundowners at Sand Dunes
- 17:30 Arrive at the Sand Dunes followed by cocktails, bar-be-que and folk dances
- 20:15 Return to the comforts of the Maharajas' Express
- 21:30 Maharajas’ Express proceeds to Jaipur
- Day 5 (Thursday) –JAIPUR
- 08:00 Enjoy countryside while having breakfast on-board.
- 10:10 Arrive into Jaipur. Proceed for a visit to Amber Fort
- 13:00 After sightseeing proceed to Rambagh Palace Hotel for lunch
- 16:00 Return to the comforts of Maharajas’ Express . Relax on-board or you may choose optional activities
- 19:30 Dinner on-board
- 23:00 The Maharajas' Express proceeds to Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore)
- Day 6 (Friday) –RANTHAMBORE - FATEHPUR SIKRI
- 06:30 Proceed for an exciting Game Drive at Ranthambore National Park
- 09:30 Return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express
- 09:45 Breakfast onboard
- 10:15 Maharajas' Express proceeds for Fatehpur Sikri
- 13:30 Lunch onboard
- 14:30 Arrive into Fatehpur Sikri
- 15:00 Visit the deserted Mughal City of Fatehpur Sikri
- 18:00 Return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express
- 19:30 Enjoy an “Indian Evening” followed by dinner on-board
- Day 7 (Saturday) –AGRA-DELHI
- 07:30 Arrive into Agra and proceed to visit Taj Mahal
- 09:30 Post Taj Mahal visit, proceed for Breakfast at Taj Khema
- 10:45 Return to the comforts of Maharajas' Express
- 11:00 Maharajas' Express proceeds to Delhi
- 13:00 Lunch on-board
- 14:45 Disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas' Express as your journey comes to an end
